Job summary

You will help deliver a high-quality MineStar Underground system enabling autonomous machine operations in underground mining environments. The role includes mentoring enterprise team members, staying abreast of innovative technology, and collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams across design reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and PhD in an accredited Engineering field.
• 4+ years of mining controls software development.
• Strong analytical skills with robotics and control theory.
• New algorithm developments, simulations, modelling and performance analysis experience.
• Advanced skills in C++, Python, objected oriented programming.
• Developed software for multi-threaded embedded applications with good debugging experience.

Responsibilities

• Be a part of the Underground Technology Controls Software Team, engaging with stakeholders on schedule, process, and quality goals.
