Aurecon Group is seeking a Senior Designer - Roads and Highways in Sydney, Australia. You will lead design efforts on major road projects and guide a team of designers and drafters to deliver high-quality solutions.

Strong knowledge of Austroads guidelines and NSW Supplements is essential, as is experience with BIM and 12D software. You will coordinate with project managers, engineers and other discipline leads to ensure on-time delivery within budget, while developing digital design strategies

Qualifikationen

• Extensive knowledge of Austroads Guide to Road Design (NSW Supplements) and Australian Standards.
• Strong road design experience including TfNSW projects.
• Experience leading design teams and coordinating with project managers and other discipline leads.
• Proficiency in BIM is a key aspect.

Aufgaben

• Demonstrate a clear understanding of the design development process and coordinate work with project team members.
• Deliver road design solutions across Urban, Rural and Motorway projects.
• Lead and manage design teams (designers and drafters) to meet time and budget targets.
• Prepare data transfers from 3D to 2D with CAD drafters and supervise related tasks.
• Produce proposals aligned to client needs and project context.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers and other discipline leads to deliver quality outcomes.
