We are seeking expressions of interest from experiencedSenior Risk Managers currently based in the UK who are open to relocating to Australia to join the delivery of one of the country's largest and most technically challenging infrastructure programmes.
T his landmarkAU$9 billion motorway and tunnelling project in Adelaide, South Australia, will transform the region's transport network through the delivery of major underground and surface infrastructure, including twin three-lane tunnels excavated by three Earth Pressure Balance (EPB) Tunnel Boring Machines (TBMs).
Working as part of an internationally recognised delivery team within a collaborativeProject Alliance Agreement (PAA), this is an opportunity to play a key role in the successful delivery of a globally significant infrastructure project.
Reporting within the project delivery organisation, you will lead the project's risk and opportunity management function, working closely with project leadership, engineering, commercial and project controls teams to identify, manage and mitigate delivery risks throughout the project lifecycle.This is a delivery-focused role requiring someone who understands the realities of constructing major infrastructure—not simply reporting project risks, but actively influencing successful project outcomes.
We are specifically looking for candidates with substantial experience working for major civil engineering or infrastructure main contractors on the delivery of large, complex construction projects.
Experience on one or more of the following would be highly desirable:
Experience supporting mechanised tunnelling (TBMs), underground works or complex geotechnical construction would be particularly advantageous.
