Job summary

Prospa in Australia is seeking an experienced Senior Risk & Control Analyst to strengthen our operational risk and control environment. You will partner with leaders across the business to improve control effectiveness and support sustainable growth as we continue helping small businesses thrive.

You’ll lead risk assessments, build Prospa’s control framework, identify gaps, and design testing activities. A practical, collaborative, hands-on approach is essential in this fast-paced fintech.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in operational risk and controls within financial services.
• Proven ability to design and test controls and perform risk assessments.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation.
• Experience delivering risk uplift programs in fintech/payments.
• Hands-on, practical approach to risk management in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead risk and control assessments across critical processes.
• Build and improve enterprise control framework and library.
• Identify control gaps and implement practical solutions.
• Design and execute control testing and assurance activities.
