Job summary

Succession Partners Pty Ltd. is seeking a Senior Risk & Compliance Officer to lead risk and compliance initiatives within a growing insurance business in Australia.

The role requires close collaboration with Executives and the Risk & Compliance Committee to drive governance and regulatory adherence. Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in Risk & Compliance for General Insurance, strong regulatory knowledge, and hands-on experience with risk/control frameworks.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ Risk & Compliance experience within General Insurance.
• Strong understanding of insurance and regulatory requirements.
• Practical experience with risk and control frameworks.
• Confident stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Commercial, proactive and hands‑on approach.
• MGA / Underwriting Agency experience highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Develop risk and compliance frameworks and processes.
• Conduct risk assessments, control testing and reviews.
• Manage incidents, issues and complaints.
• Prepare compliance reporting and training.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders and the Risk & Compliance Committee.
