Job summary

Ink Recruitment is partnering with a Sydney-based firm to fill a broad risk, compliance and governance role. Hybrid, 9-month fixed term contract, $170k + super. You will own and implement risk management, governance frameworks and privacy/compliance programs with access to executives.

You will conduct risk assessments, advise on data protection, coordinate with stakeholders, and deliver training to strengthen the organisation's risk culture. Strong regulatory knowledge and autonomy are essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of risk and compliance experience across projects or programs.
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and data handling obligations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor risk management and compliance frameworks.
• Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities.
• Advise on privacy, data protection and information security compliance.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to meet regulatory obligations.
• Support governance activities and contribute to policies and procedures.
• Monitor regulatory changes and update programs accordingly.
• Deliver training to build a strong risk and compliance culture.
