Job summary

Civmec Construction & Engineering Pty Ltd is recruiting for a Rigger to support shutdowns and project works in Queensland. You will perform rigging, conduct assessments, and move heavy equipment with care in confined spaces, ensuring safe practices at all times.

The role requires five years of shutdown/site experience, relevant tickets, and a focus on safety. Accommodation and meals are often provided during shifts, with day and night rosters across Moura shutdown activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years shutdown/site experience.
• HRWL RI or RA and Construction White Card.
• Pass pre-employment medical and regular drug/alcohol screens.
• Additional tickets will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Perform rigging tasks across shutdowns and project works.
• Conduct detailed rigging assessments.
• Control movement of heavy equipment through narrow openings.
• Manoeuvre loads safely through confined spaces.
• Dismantle rigging equipment following completion of tasks.
• Maintain and store rigging equipment correctly.
• Conduct risk assessments prior to commencing tasks.
• Comply with industry safety standards at all times.
• Coordinate with crews to complete rigging activities safely.
