Job summary

ACCIONA is seeking a Rigging/Lifting Specialist for the Alkimos Desalination Plant project in WA. You’ll plan and carry out lifts across the site, set slings and rigging gear, and supervise crane operations to move plant and materials safely into place.

The role requires a current Intermediate Rigging CW4 license, a Dogging ticket, and a strong safety record. Experience on large infrastructure projects is highly regarded; the company offers long-term work and strong career runway.

Qualifications

  • Current Intermediate Rigging CW4 licence is required.
  • Dogging ticket highly regarded.
  • Strong understanding of lifting plans, load calculations and rigging equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and carry out lifts across the site.
  • Set slings and rigging gear, direct crane operators.
  • Inspect equipment before each lift and keep lifts on schedule and within spec.
