Job summary

CALHN in Adelaide CBD is seeking a Senior Revenue Officer – Debt Management to lead debt recovery activities and ensure financial sustainability of the health service. You will manage complex debtor cases, conduct outbound collections, and oversee fee remissions, write-offs, refunds, and reconciliations.

In this senior role you’ll supervise Revenue Officers, drive process improvements, ensure compliance with policies, and provide guidance to the team in a fast-paced public health environment.

About the Role

As a Senior Revenue Officer – Debt Management, you’ll play a pivotal role in leading and delivering debt recovery activities that directly support the financial sustainability of our health service. Reporting to the Manager, Debt Management, you’ll be responsible for managing complex debtor cases, undertaking outbound collection calls, and ensuring accurate processing of fee remissions, write-offs, refunds, and reconciliations. Your keen eye for detail and commitment to compliance will ensure that all activities align with relevant policies and standards.

You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of debt management processes through compliance and efficiency reviews. In this senior position, you’ll provide oversight and guidance to Revenue Officers within the team, supporting their day-to-day activities and helping to foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
