Job summary

Bunnings is seeking a Senior Supervisor at our Mildura store to lead day-to-day operations, coach frontline team members and ensure a safe, well-stocked store that delivers a superior customer experience.

You will partner with the store leadership to open/close shifts, plan workforce coverage, and implement new tools or processes while maintaining a positive and productive work environment. This role emphasizes leadership, adaptability, and hands-on support to staff and customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in a retail or customer-facing leadership or supervisory role.
• Confidence supporting store operations including safety, stock management and customer service.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Availability to work across a rotating roster, including opening and closing shifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead from the front, creating a welcoming, safe and well-presented store environment that sets the tone for a great customer experience.
• Support day-to-day store operations, including opening and closing, and stepping into site leadership when required.
• Coach and guide team members on the shop floor, helping them deliver knowledgeable and helpful service.
• Keep the store running smoothly through effective workforce planning, stock flow and replenishment.
• Drive a strong safety culture by promoting safe practices and supporting team wellbeing.
• Resolve customer queries in a practical, helpful way that builds trust and loyalty.
• Look for better ways of working, improving efficiency and supporting the rollout of new tools or processes.
• Play a key role in onboarding and developing team members, supporting their growth and confidence on the job.

Full-time role. Flexibility to work morning, day and evening shifts across the 7 days of the week is required so that we can provide the best experience to our customers.

You’ll be eligible to receive an adult pay rate for 18 years of age and above at $31.93 per hour for this role.
