Job summary

McGrathNicol in Perth seeks a senior leader for our Restructuring practice to guide clients through financial distress, shape turnaround strategies and deliver value protection. You will work with boards, management and lenders, leading multi-workstream engagements with Partners.

You will mentor teams, drive business development and stay ahead of industry trends, contributing to growth and an open, collaborative culture. Relevant experience in complex restructurings is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in leading and delivering complex, multi-workstream engagements.
• Comfortable operating in fast-moving, high-stakes environments.
• Commercially minded, with a genuine interest in helping the firm grow.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute restructuring and insolvency strategies tailored to each situation.
• Lead and support engagement teams across multiple workstreams.
• Apply rigorous financial analysis and clear strategic thinking to complex problems.
• Contribute to business development and grow the firm's market presence.
• Serve as a trusted contact for senior client stakeholders, including boards, lenders and investors.
• Foster an open, collaborative team culture.
• Coach and mentor managers and junior staff.
• Stay across industry trends and regulatory shifts.
