Job summary

McGrathNicol in Perth is seeking an experienced Manager or Senior Manager to join our M&A team in Deals & Performance. You will lead end-to-end transactions for private and public clients, guiding teams through origination, due diligence, negotiation and closing.

You will apply advanced financial analysis, valuation and commercial reasoning to deliver independent, high-quality advice, while mentoring junior staff and managing key stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• 4 - 7 years of M&A advisory experience across the full transaction lifecycle.
• Proven lead on complex due diligence and multi-workstream engagements.
• Advanced financial modelling, valuation and commercial reasoning.
• CA, CFA or equivalent qualification (strongly preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end M&A transaction lifecycle from origination to completion.
• Deliver high-quality financial, commercial analysis to underpin transaction advice.
• Assess targets, risks, synergies and deal structuring considerations.
• Manage relationships with owners, boards, investors and senior executives; communicate effectively.
• Mentor, coach and develop junior team members to improve technical standards.
