Job summary

Remeed Solutions Pty Ltd. in Sydney is seeking a Senior Restoration Technician to lead hands-on restoration work across water, fire, mould and storm damage. You will assess sites, map moisture, operate restoration equipment, and support project delivery while guiding technicians and contractors.

The role requires strong leadership, experience in restoration, and compliance with IICRC and OH&S standards. Occasional travel across NSW is expected from time to time.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in restoration or related industries.
• IICRC certifications highly regarded.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide field teams.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Physically capable of working in demanding site environments.
• Full driver’s licence, White Card, Working with Children Crim History Check –
• Additional certifications such as EWP are advantageous.

• Communicate with clients, insurers, subcontractors, and internal teams to provide progress updates and ensure satisfaction
• Supervise, mentor, and support technicians, labourers, and contractors to ensure safe and efficient project delivery
• Maintain compliance with IICRC standards, OH&S requirements, and company procedures
• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation including job records, site reports, and insurance paperwork

About the Role

As aSenior Restoration Technician, you will carry out hands‑on restoration work across water, fire, mould and storm damage, including water extraction, structural drying, smoke and soot cleaning, and mould remediation. Working across a variety of sites across NSW, you will assess damage, use moisture mapping tools and restoration equipment, and complete all works safely and in line with IICRC and OH&S standards. You will be responsible for maintaining equipment, documenting works accurately, and supporting efficient project delivery while building your skills across a range of restoration services. This role serves as a 2IC to the Lead Technician during peek periods where you will also oversee daily operations and contractors.

Please note, our depot is based in Northmead but this role will require occasional travel throughout the greater Sydney region and regional NSW from time-to-time.
