Job summary

Resources Group in Sydney is seeking a Senior Research Executive to own quantitative projects, turning raw survey data into actionable insights for clients. You’ll manage tracking and custom quant programs, delivering insight-led recommendations and presenting findings to stakeholders.

You’ll work closely with client teams and data specialists, collaborating across Sydney, Melbourne and international offices while leveraging the latest tools including AI.

Qualifications

• 1-2+ years in quant/analytics or insights (agency or client-side).
• Love of data visualisation and telling stories with numbers.
• Confident analysing survey data with Q, SPSS or similar.
• Sharp attention to detail and pride in quality.
• Can-do, roll-up-your-sleeves attitude.
• Financial services exposure is a bonus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Own the analysis on quant projects from data checks to the 'so what'.
• Dig into survey data to identify patterns, outliers and meaningful shifts.
• Work across tracking, segmentation and custom quant analysis.

Senior Research Executive | Quantitative Research

Got a couple of years of quant research under your belt and ready for more ownership, bigger data and a seat in front of the client? This is a cracking next step for a (Senior) Research Executive who wants to grow into a genuine insight’s consultant.
My client is a highly respected global research and advisory firm with a reputation for rigorous, commercially sharp quantitative work. They're growing their client service and insights team and want someone who loves the numbers but also wants to shape the story they tell.

The Role
You'll work on large-scale tracking and custom quant programs, taking data from raw survey output through to insight-led recommendations clients actually act on. You'll be close to the client, close to the data, and trusted with more than just the charts.
You’ll be:

• Owning the analysis on quant projects, from data checks and tables through to the "so what"
• Digging into survey data to find the patterns, outliers and shifts that actually matter
• Working across tracking, segmentation and custom quant analysis
• Turning numbers into a clear, commercially relevant story clients can act on
• Building insight-led presentations and stepping up in client meetings
• Collaborating with teams across Sydney, Melbourne and international offices
• Getting hands-on with the latest research and data tools, including AI

What You'll Bring
