Job summary

Aurecon Group in Sydney is seeking an Electrical Engineer, Renewables to support the design and delivery of utility-scale solar, wind and BESS projects. You will work across the full lifecycle, from concept through construction, collaborating with civil, structural, HV/substations, and grid-connection teams to achieve high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical design for utility-scale solar, wind and/or BESS.
• Strong understanding of solar, wind and BESS electrical systems and interfaces.
• Experience producing high-quality deliverables: SLDs, equipment specs, calculations, reports.

Responsibilities

• Support design and delivery of utility-scale solar, wind and BESS projects across the full lifecycle.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (civil, structural, HV/substations, transmission, protection and control, grid connection).
• Coordinate with distributed delivery teams to achieve quality and schedule targets.
• Engage with clients, OEMs, contractors and internal stakeholders to ensure safe, constructible deliverables.
