Aurecon is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for Solar Renewables Design in Brisbane. You will lead the electrical engineering design packages from concept to detailed design and implementation, with a focus on LV and HV power systems, ensuring practical, compliant solutions.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, manage delivery performance, and support continuous improvement of design standards in projects across brownfield and new build environments.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Current RPEQ registration.
• Experience delivering electrical design for LV/HV power systems in heavy industry or related sectors.
• Experience leading electrical design teams and providing technical guidance.
• Strong understanding of design processes, reviews, client standards and governance.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the delivery of electrical engineering design packages from concept through detailed design and implementation.
• Provide technical leadership for LV and HV power systems, ensuring practical and compliant designs.
• Act as trusted advisor to clients, offering clear technical guidance.
• Review, coordinate and oversee engineering deliverables, calculations, specifications and studies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions for operating assets and brownfield environments.
• Lead, mentor and develop electrical engineers, promoting technical excellence.
• Manage project performance, resources, budgets and delivery outcomes with focus on quality.
• Drive continuous improvement and support best-practice engineering standards across projects.
