Qualifications

• 3–7 years of experience in town planning, development approvals, or environmental planning.
• Degree in Urban/Town Planning, Environmental Science, or related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of state and local planning policies, legislation, codes and guidelines and environmental approval processes.
• Experience liaising and negotiating with Local and State Government bodies and other authorities/agencies.
• Proven ability to engage and build relationships with diverse stakeholders, including members of the public and local communities.

Responsibilities

• Identify planning and environmental approval risks and pathways for projects at all levels of government.
• Organise and attend meetings with Local and State Governments, and other authorities/agencies.
• Communicating effectively and appropriately with a diverse range of stakeholders, including members of the public.
• Collaborate with internal project teams to progress the development of projects.
