Synergie Australia is recruiting a Senior Project Accountant for a renewable energy corporate project portfolio in St Leonards, NSW. The role requires hands-on accounting across project lifecycles with strong controls and stakeholder collaboration to deliver clear performance insights.

You will manage set-up, revenue, costs, accruals, journals, reconciliations, and financial close, ensuring accurate period recognition and timely reports for project leadership.

Formación

• Hands-on senior project accounting across multiple projects.
• Strong controls and business partner with finance and non-finance stakeholders.
• Accounting judgement and experience with project lifecycle.

Responsabilidades

• Manage end-to-end accounting across setup, revenue/costs, accruals, journals and close.
• Deliver timely month-end/year-end results and supporting controls.
• Ensure revenue/cost recognition is accurate and investigate variances.
• Manage project billing, WIP, receivables and cash flow impacts.
• Prepare and review project financial reports and explain movements.
• Maintain compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Identify risks, control gaps and data quality issues; drive resolution.
• Provide technical accounting guidance across project activities.
