Job summary

ADM seeks a Principal Reliability Advisor to join the corporate Reliability Technology Center in a permanent, full-time role. The individual will drive enterprise-wide reliability improvements across multiple sites, focusing on maintenance strategy development and asset performance management.

The role requires leadership in RCA, FRACAS implementation, and mentoring reliability teams, partnering with Maintenance Managers and site leaders to optimize asset performance while managing cost and risk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical or Industrial) or similar technical discipline.
• 8+ years’ progressive reliability experience, 3+ years in a corporate role.
• Subject Matter Expert in reliability with defect elimination focus.
• Strong knowledge of reliability principles, tools and methodologies (FMEA, RCFA, RCM, PMO).
• Life Data Analysis expertise for evaluating equipment capability and performance.
• Ability to coach and train reliability professionals; strong communication skills.
• Willingness to travel ~30% to manufacturing facilities.

Responsibilities

• Act as subject matter expert in asset reliability processes and practices.
• Drive defect elimination and bad actor management with regional teams.
• Review asset performance data to identify trends and support improvement plans.
• Guide maintenance and operations to refine preventative/predictive programs.
• Lead RCA efforts on critical equipment failures and implement long-term fixes.
• Develop and embed FRACAS at sites and regional partners.
• Lead or support asset criticality reviews with site teams.
• Measure KPIs to track reliability across business units.
• Use risk-based methods to inform asset reinvestment and capital planning.
