Job summary

Insulet Corporation is seeking a Customer Care Specialist, Senior to provide superior service to OmniPod customers, verify insurance benefits, process orders, and resolve reimbursement issues. The role partners with Case Management, Sales and Billing to communicate order status and escalate as needed.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in a professional healthcare-support environment, diabetes knowledge, and familiarity with Salesforce CRM. A collaborative, compliant team player is essential.

Qualifications

• Associates/Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 4+ years’ related experience with phone coverage in healthcare.
• Insurance/health plan knowledge and managed care understanding.
• Diabetes knowledge and patient support preferred.
• Experience with Salesforce CRM is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process orders and verify insurance benefits for eligibility and cost share.
• Escalation calls on insurance contracts and reimbursement requirements.
• Collect updated documentation and coordinate shipment to customers.
• Explain Insulet products and usage to customers with clarity.
• Answer inquiries, provide support, and resolve issues promptly and empathetically.
• Submit prior authorization requests for claims processing.
