Qualifications

• This role requires specialist rehabilitation and injury management knowledge with relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience.
• Experience in managing workers’ compensation, return-to-work and wellbeing initiatives is essential.
• Ability to interpret medical and workplace information and translate it into actionable actions.

Responsibilities

• Provide clear advice and coordinate action to support employee recovery and safe return to work.
• Collaborate with managers to address workplace factors affecting recovery and participation at work.
• Develop and maintain relationships with employees, practitioners and rehabilitation providers.
• Use medical and functional information to set rehabilitation goals and monitor progress.
• Coordinate information gathering for workers’ compensation claims and support timely processing.
• Identify opportunities to improve rehabilitation and case management delivery and systems.
• Support early intervention and proactive injury management while maintaining confidential records.
