Job summary

The Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission seeks a Principal Intelligence Analyst in Brisbane to lead the Regulatory Intelligence Strategy and deliver timely, objective intelligence products. You will manage intake, triage, sequencing, and analytics workstreams, ensuring quality and governance across regulatory decisions.

• Experience leading complex intelligence analysis for executive or regulatory decision-making.
• Excellent research, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills for concise briefings to diverse audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong leadership & mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of Regulatory Intelligence Strategy priorities through coordinated analytical activities and delivery timeframes.
• Lead complex Strategic Intelligence Assessments and high-priority intelligence products with defensible judgments.
• Oversee end-to-end intelligence work flow: intake, triage, sequencing, milestones, and adapting to changing priorities.
• Provide quality assurance and clear, caveated intelligence outputs for executive and regulatory use.
• Integrate intelligence from internal data, open sources and partner agencies into practical recommendations.
• Build trusted relationships, coaching and mentoring while embedding governance, standards and frameworks.
