Job summary

Western Power in Perth is seeking a Senior Compliance Specialist to join on a permanent basis in Perth. You will lead the implementation of regulatory frameworks, ensure licence obligations are met, and embed compliant practices across the organisation.

You will manage statutory audits, coordinate assurance activities, develop and maintain compliance tools, and deliver training to uplift governance and risk management across all business units.

Qualifications

• Experience in regulatory compliance, assurance, auditing or investigations within a highly regulated environment.
• Ability to interpret complex regulatory obligations and provide practical, risk-based advice.

Responsibilities

• Lead regulatory compliance assurance activities and oversee licence obligations.
• Manage statutory audits and regulatory reviews with external auditors and regulators.
• Develop and maintain the compliance framework, obligations register, and related tools.
• Partner with leaders to establish accountability, develop compliance plans, and embed controls.
• Drive assurance programs, audit oversight, and monitor compliance performance.
