Job summary

Ventia is seeking a Senior Regional Planner to lead maintenance planning and trade repair operations at Robertson Barracks in Darwin. The role reports to the Regional Manager and oversees a team of six, driving efficient planning, prioritisation and delivery across the Defence site.

Key responsibilities include managing a team of Planners, Trade Repair Officers and an Administrator, overseeing external contractors, and using CMMS data to optimise performance and reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience leading maintenance planning or scheduling teams.
• Strong contractor management and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience managing planned and reactive maintenance programs.
• Advanced Excel and CMMS capability (SAP highly desirable).
• Experience in Defence or maintenance environments is highly regarded.

Ventia is seeking an experienced Senior Regional Planner to lead maintenance planning and trade repair operations at Robertson Barracks. Reporting to the Regional Manager, you’ll lead a team of six and play a key role in ensuring maintenance activities are planned, prioritised and delivered efficiently across a major Defence site.

About The Role

• Lead maintenance planning and scheduling across Robertson Barracks
• Manage a team of 2 Planners, 3 Trade Repair Officers and an Administrator
• Oversee external trade repair contractors and performance outcomes
• Drive work order management, prioritisation and continuous improvement
• Partner with Defence stakeholders and site leadership to support operational delivery
• Utilise CMMS systems and data to optimise maintenance performance and reporting

About You

You will bring:

• Experience leading maintenance planning, scheduling or technical teams
• Strong contractor management and stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience managing planned and reactive maintenance programs
• Advanced Excel and CMMS capability (SAP highly desirable)
• Strong leadership, organisational and problem-solving skills
• Experience within Defence or Maintenance environments is highly regarded.
