Job summary

Ventia is seeking a Senior Regional Planner to lead maintenance planning and trade repair operations at Robertson Barracks in Darwin. The role reports to the Regional Manager and oversees a team of six, driving efficient planning, prioritisation and delivery across the Defence site.

Key responsibilities include managing a team of Planners, Trade Repair Officers and an Administrator, overseeing external contractors, and using CMMS data to optimise performance and reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience leading maintenance planning or scheduling teams.
• Strong contractor management and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience managing planned and reactive maintenance programs.
• Advanced Excel and CMMS capability (SAP highly desirable).
• Experience in Defence or maintenance environments is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance planning and scheduling across Robertson Barracks.
• Manage a team of Planners, Trade Repair Officers and an Administrator.
• Oversee external trade repair contractors and performance outcomes.
• Drive work order management, prioritisation and continuous improvement.
• Partner with Defence stakeholders and site leadership to support operational delivery.
• Utilise CMMS systems and data to optimise maintenance performance and reporting.
