Job summary

Reef Catchments, the regional natural resource management organisation, is seeking a Senior Program Director, Land and Water to provide strategic leadership and governance across the portfolio. You will lead managers and teams to translate priorities into delivery with measurable regional outcomes.

The role combines strategy, program assurance, financial oversight, people leadership and high-level stakeholder engagement, with relocation to Mackay or Proserpine, QLD.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience across complex, multidisciplinary programs or portfolios.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor and uplift capability of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Experience overseeing budgets, funding agreements, delivery teams and stakeholder relationships.
• Strong governance, risk management, compliance and delivery assurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and leadership across the Land and Water portfolio.
• Oversee complex programs and projects with budgets, schedules and risks.
• Advise CEO and Board on performance, issues, risks and investment priorities.
• Lead portfolio governance, delivery assurance and reporting.
• Identify funding opportunities, business cases and delivery models.
• Build senior relationships with government, funders, landholders and partners.
