Job summary

Premier's Department in NSW is seeking a Senior Regional Coordination Officer to lead complex policy, project and coordination work supporting government priorities across NSW. You will manage cross-agency initiatives and provide high-quality briefs and reports for senior leaders.

These roles focus on improving outcomes for young people in Western NSW, requiring strong stakeholder engagement, negotiation and facilitation skills, with on-ground regional engagement and coordinating

Qualifications

• Strategic Coordination Experience: demonstrated ability to develop, manage and implement regional and cross-government projects.
• Regional Knowledge and Community Focus: deep understanding of regional NSW issues, especially Western NSW.
• Whole-of-Government Delivery: track record delivering outcomes across multiple agencies and intergovernmental frameworks.
• Government Knowledge and Policy Insight: understanding of cabinet processes, briefings and public sector accountability.
• Communication and Briefing Excellence: ability to prepare concise, accurate briefs and stakeholder presentations.
• Stakeholder Engagement and Influence: proven ability to build relationships with agencies, councils and communities.
• Project Management: manage projects, priorities and deadlines with attention to detail.

Responsibilities
