Job summary

UGL Transport is seeking a highly experienced Senior Maintenance & Test Engineer to lead technical activities for the NSW Passenger fleet. Based at Kangy Angy, NSW, the role focuses on safe, reliable maintenance, testing and commissioning of rolling stock, reporting to the Maintenance and Testing Manager.

You will provide guidance, support fault investigations, develop maintenance processes and mentor teams across maintenance and commissioning operations.

Qualifications

• Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical or related technical qualification.
• Experience in maintenance, testing, commissioning, asset management or reliability engineering.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
• Able to engage and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Continuous improvement mindset with safety focus.
• Experience mentoring or supporting others in a technical environment.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office.
• Collaborative mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.
