Multicultural Consulting Services Pty Ltd – Sydney NSW is seeking a Senior Contracts Administrator to manage high-value subcontracts for rail facilities. The role bases in central Sydney with potential site moves to Clyde/Rosehill as projects progress in 2026.

You will lead scope development, procurement, negotiations and close-out reporting while guiding junior staff. Ideal candidates bring a postgraduate qualification and extensive experience in contracts administration or quantity surveying,

Qualifications

• Postgraduate qualification in quantity surveying, commerce, accounting, business, construction, property, law or related discipline.
• Proven senior contracts-administration or quantity-surveying experience in construction or engineering.
• End-to-end procurement and management of high-value subcontract packages.
• Strong cost control, commercial negotiation and contract knowledge.
• Understanding of market conditions, document control and reliable records management.

Responsibilities

• Lead scope development, tender analysis, procurement and subcontract negotiations.
• Manage claims, variations, notices, cost forecasts, accruals and commercial reporting through close-out.
• Work with engineering teams to resolve scope gaps and plan procurement packages.
• Assess contractual risks, implement controls and support head-contract administration.
• Coach junior commercial staff and maintain effective subcontractor and market relationships.
