Job summary

Metro Trains Sydney is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer, BRA Civil & Structures to join our Engineering and Maintenance Delivery team in Adelaide. You will provide technical oversight of BRA civil and structural assets, manage defect identification, remediation strategies, and maintenance planning.

In this hands-on role you will monitor defects, coordinate remediation plans, support asset management requirements and safety initiatives, and contribute to ongoing technology uplift and the

Qualifications

• Qualified Civil Engineer with rail infrastructure experience.
• Experience with defect remediation, asset performance and risk assessment.
• Familiarity with rail industry standards and asset management systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor BRA civil defects and specified assets.
• Prepare notices supported by drawings, photos and site reports.
• Coordinate close-out of Agreed Remediation Plans and track progress.
• Support Maintenance Works Program updates and safety initiatives.
• Analyse defect trends to inform Asset Management Plan requirements.
