Job summary

ProFound People in Australia is seeking a Senior R&D Process Engineer specializing in Wet Etching / Metal Etch to join our cutting-edge microfabrication program. You will bridge wet-chemical formulation with deposition hardware and help close a current capability gap.

With at least 3 years hands-on wet lab and tooling experience, you will test electrochemical experiments, optimize fluid flow, and contribute to IP generation for next-generation precision manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Hands-on wet-lab experience with electrochemical cells and plating.
• Experience with microfabrication setups and related tooling.
• Strong understanding of wet-chemical formulation and process development.
• Ability to generate and protect IP through experiments.

Responsibilities

• Test run electrochemical experiments and optimize fluid flow.
• Develop and optimize wet-etch / metal-etch processes.
• Collaborate with hardware teams to scale lab results.
