Job summary

Landmark Australia is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic construction team, focusing on high-rise residential projects. You will oversee contracts, costs, and commercial performance, working closely with the Head of Procurement and site teams to ensure value and timely delivery.

Ideal candidates bring 6+ years in quantity surveying, with proven cost planning, forecasting, and contract administration skills, plus proficiency in Cubit and Bluebeam.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, including high-rise projects.
• Strong forecasting, cost planning and contract administration skills.
• Excellent reading of plans, drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost plans, budgets and Bill of Quantities rates, and agree final accounts
• Manage the tender process, including scopes of work, procurement schedules and tender comparisons
• Negotiate with subcontractors to secure advantageous terms and assess contract risk
• Manage and review progress claims, variations and payments to tight deadlines
• Prepare weekly and monthly commercial reports covering forecasting, cash flow and final accounts
• Identify value engineering opportunities and cost loading for construction programmes
• Provide input into construction schedules and extension of time claims
• Resolve contractual issues with subcontractors and collaborate with design teams to close out items
• Attend site to verify works, review progress and support site activities
• Manage project close-out including warranties, certifications and Occupation Certificate documentation
