Job summary

Aequalis Consulting Pty is seeking an Estimating Manager – Energy & Infrastructure in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane. You will lead a team of estimators, oversee risk-adjusted estimates for major projects and guide tender submissions to support sustainable delivery.

You will work with senior stakeholders to strengthen commercial discipline, cost forecasting and governance across transmission, utilities and energy infrastructure initiatives.

Qualifications

Experience leading Estimating teams in infrastructure projects.
Ability to challenge estimates and pricing methodologies.
Experience with major project tenders, bid submissions and commercial risk assessments.
Understanding of cost forecasting, contract structures and procurement.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach and develop a team of estimators across energy and infrastructure.
Oversee preparation and review of accurate, commercially competitive estimates.
Provide leadership across tendering and bid lifecycle with governance.
Challenge estimating methodologies, pricing assumptions and risk allowances.
Collaborate with engineering, procurement and delivery teams on tender submissions.
Establish estimating frameworks, systems and reporting standards.
Identify opportunities to improve estimating efficiency and bid quality.
