Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager in Sydney to lead cost management on major NSW and national infrastructure projects. You will develop cost plans, estimate budgets, measure quantities from designs and forecast cash flow while guiding juniors and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Ideal candidates have Australian standards experience across Health, Community, Commercial, Civil Infrastructure and Major Projects, plus AIQS or RICS credentials and strong

Qualifications

Senior QS with consulting environment experience and knowledge of Australian standards.
Experience in cost planning, estimating, procurement and client-facing advisory services.
Commitment, willingness to learn and ability to work in a deadline-driven team.
Tertiary education plus AIQS, RICS or recognised equivalent.

Responsibilities

Provide quantity surveying and cost management services on large infrastructure projects.
Develop cost planning and estimating during design, measure quantities from drawings, forecast cash flow.
Conduct construction phase cost management, capital cost advice and lifecycle costing.
Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance to the team.
