Job summary

M Group is looking for a experienced Quantity Surveyor to join its water and wastewater capital project delivery team. You will manage tender and contract documents, value completed work, and oversee budgets and payments across large-scale capital programmes aimed at maintaining resilient water infrastructure.

We require proven Quantity surveying experience, NEC4 knowledge, and a degree or equivalent experience; Chartered status is desirable, and a valid UK driving licence is preferred.

• Proven experience in Quantity surveying with a stable employment history.
• Good NEC4 knowledge.
• Degree in a relevant subject or 10 years experience.
• Chartered or working towards Chartership is desirable.
• Valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Managing and mentoring junior team members.
• Preparing tender and contract documents.
• Reviewing draft subcontracts prepared by the more junior members of the Team.
• Valuing completed work, managing budgets and overseeing payments.
• Preparing and submitting monthly CVRs.
