Job summary

Ae Capital in Sydney, NSW, is seeking an Experienced Quantitative Developer/Software Engineer (C#) to join a Systematic Hedge Fund.

You will build and maintain high-throughput real-time trading systems, integrating SQL/NoSQL databases, AWS, Grafana, Python, and MATLAB while collaborating with quantitative researchers. You’ll own the full software development lifecycle and contribute to on-call support as the team grows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional development experience required.
• Strong C# / .NET experience and full-stack capability.
• Experience with SQL databases and NoSQL data stores.
• Experience designing high-throughput, real-time trading systems.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and work in a small team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full-stack applications using C# / .NET.
• Design and build high-throughput, real-time trading systems.
• Synchronize data feeds from global locations.
• Lead code reviews and drive continuous improvement.
• Own the full software development lifecycle from design to deployment.
• Provide on-call production support and mentoring.
