Job summary

RGIT Australia is seeking a Junior Software Engineer/Quantitative Developer to join a systematic hedge fund that trades global FX and futures markets. You will work alongside experienced engineers and researchers on real-time, high-performance systems, with a strong software-engineering focus and clear path to progression.

You will develop and maintain C#/.NET applications, engage with SQL/NoSQL, AWS, Grafana, Python and MATLAB, and contribute to testing, monitoring and production support.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of professional software development experience or a related STEM degree.
• Experience with C#/.NET preferred; Java/C++ also considered.
• Experience with databases and SQL.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain C#/.NET applications and data systems.
• Build and maintain real-time trading data pipelines.
• Contribute to testing, monitoring and production support.
• Collaborate with researchers to translate requirements into software.
• Participate in code reviews and automated testing.
