Job summary

Talenza is seeking a Senior QC Automation Engineer to uplift testing capability in a large-scale healthcare technology environment in Sydney. You will combine hands-on automation with strategic input on testing governance and capability uplift across multiple tech teams.

You will drive automation across web, API and integration tests, mentor testers, and help shape modern Quality Engineering practices with a strong emphasis on shift-left and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Strong automation framework experience in enterprise environments.
• Hands-on with Playwright, Selenium or Cypress.
• Proficient in TypeScript or C#.
• API testing across REST and SOAP.
• Experience mentoring testers and uplifting automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and enhance scalable automation frameworks.
• Drive test automation across web, API and integration testing.
• Champion shift-left testing and quality engineering principles across teams.
• Mentor and uplift testers, building automation capability across the function.
• Establish and improve testing standards, governance and best practices.
• Collaborate with software engineers to improve testability and release confidence.
• Evaluate new technologies including AI-enabled testing capabilities.
• Support non-functional testing initiatives (performance/load).
• Influence quality outcomes as a technical leader without people management.
