Job summary

CMC Markets ANZ is seeking an experienced QA Manual Test Engineer to join the Engineering & Architecture, Core Services team on a 12-month maximum-term contract. You will ensure the quality and reliability of software applications through rigorous testing and validation processes, collaborating with developers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality products.

You’ll work on complex, high-volume systems, contributing early in projects, and expanding your technical capability across API,

Qualifications

5+ years of experience as a QA Manual Test Engineer in financial services.
Strong manual testing experience, ideally within financial services.
Experience with Jira, Git, and API testing.
Testing within an AWS cloud architecture.
ISTQB Certified Tester.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain test plans and test scripts, ensuring coverage for functional requirements.
Execute test scripts, record results and analyse variances against expectations.
Log and track defects and monitor them through resolution.
Prepare regular test status and completion reports for progress tracking.
Develop testing schedules to optimise testing resources.
Perform usability testing for performance, reliability, scalability and security.
