Job summary

Synechron seeks a highly experienced Lead/Principal Automation QA Engineer to drive quality engineering initiatives across concurrent projects in a global consulting context.

In this hands-on leadership role, you will architect robust Playwright-based automation frameworks with Java and TypeScript, champion Shift-Left testing, and mentor junior engineers while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable software across fintech and technology clients.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in automation QA/software quality engineering.
• Experience designing and implementing automation frameworks.
• Proven leadership and mentoring abilities across multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain Playwright-based automation frameworks (Java/TypeScript).
• Define and execute comprehensive test plans and strategies.
• Drive CI/CD integration for automated tests (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab).
• Mentor junior/mid-level QA engineers and promote best practices.
