Sirius. in Canberra is seeking a senior QA professional to own the testing function in a modern C# / .NET environment. The role emphasizes shift-left quality, building an automation framework from scratch, and mentoring development teams.

You will collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams, design long-term QA strategy, and ensure robust UI and API test coverage across CI/CD pipelines using Docker, Bitbucket, and RestSharp. 5 days in the Canberra office required.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in a Senior QA, SDET, or Test Automation Strategy role.
• Experience building test frameworks from the ground up.
• Strong hands-on coding in C# / .NET and UI & API automation.
• CI/CD pipelines, version control, and containerisation experience.
• Familiarity with performance testing and test case management tools.

Responsibilities

• Review and design a long-term test automation strategy.
• Build, scale, and maintain a robust UI and API test framework in C# / Selenium.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Docker, Bitbucket, etc.).
• Lead backend validation using REST API clients and libraries (Postman, RestSharp).
• Develop performance benchmarking and load testing suites (e.g., JMeter).
• Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to embed quality early in SDLC.
• Monitor quality metrics and support UAT for quarterly releases.
