Infosys Limited in Sydney, Australia is seeking a results-driven software engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable applications and APIs using Python.

You will build RESTful interfaces, containerize with Docker, work with MySQL and Victoria Metrics, and implement data pipelines with Airflow, Kafka, Redis, and Grafana to monitor performance. The role supports hybrid working arrangements and requires engineering credentials.

Qualificações

• Engineering Bachelors or Master’s degree level or equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable software applications and APIs using Python.
• Develop and integrate RESTful and other API interfaces for communication between systems.
• Utilize Docker for containerizing and deploying applications.
• Work with database systems such as MySQL and Victoria Metrics for data storage, retrieval, and analysis.
• Design and implement data pipelines and workflows using Airflow for automation and orchestration.
• Implement and manage data streaming solutions using Kafka for real-time data processing.
• Utilize Redis for caching and in-memory data storage to enhance performance.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and visualizations using Grafana to monitor system performance.
• Apply knowledge of the telecommunications domain to understand system requirements and contribute to solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including network engineers, system administrators, and product managers.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in software development and the telecommunications industry.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and tools.
• Write clear and concise technical documentation.
