Job summary
The Trustee for the Byrne No. 2 Trust in Hervey Bay and Maryborough is seeking a Senior Staff Specialist or Staff Specialist or Senior Medical Officer (Psychiatrist) to provide expert psychiatric care across the Wide Bay Health Service network.
The role covers Hervey Bay and Maryborough Hospitals with potential assignments at Bundaberg. Remuneration up to 564,548 AUD per annum, including base salary of 193,191–282,912 AUD, plus superannuation, leave loading and development allowances.
Qualifications
- Medical qualification in Psychiatry with specialist registration.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
- Willingness to work across Hervey Bay and Maryborough.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert Psychiatric care and advice to patients attending Mental Health Services in Hervey Bay and Maryborough Hospitals.
- Provide professional leadership in the area of Mental Health within a multidisciplinary environment.
- Provide training, education and supervision to junior medical staff and other health care team members.
