Job summary

Mediix is recruiting Consultant Psychiatrists for two regional hospitals in the Wide Bay region, Hervey Bay and Maryborough. The role offers a total remuneration package up to AUD 564,548 p.a., with a base salary of AUD 193,191 – 282,912 p.a. and 12.75% superannuation.

Qualifications

Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP) for appointments.
Registered or eligible for registration as a Specialist Psychiatrist with AHPRA.
Australian working rights, or eligible for employer-sponsored visa.

Responsibilities

Deliver expert psychiatric care to patients across inpatient, outpatient and hospital-in-the-home services.
Provide professional leadership within a multidisciplinary mental health team.
Contribute to training, education and supervision of junior medical staff and allied health colleagues.
Work across a broad range of clinical presentations in a regional public health setting.
