Job summary

Liverpool City Council in Sydney is seeking a Senior Property Officer to manage property acquisitions, disposals, leases, easements, and road closures, coordinating closely with internal teams and external consultants.

You will lead property projects, liaise with Valuers, Surveyors and Lawyers, and prepare detailed property reports. A tertiary Property Management/Real Estate qualification and a Class C licence are required. Hybrid work and a competitive salary are offered.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Property Management, Real Estate or related discipline
• Current Class C drivers licence
• Experience with property portfolio management and relevant legislation

Responsibilities

• Assist with property acquisitions and disposals for planning purposes, incl. infrastructure, VPAs and road closures
• Review and negotiate leases, easements, road/laneway closures and related documentation
• Provide property advisory support to internal teams and Council departments
• Manage specific property projects and coordinate with consultants for property contracts, leases and licences
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders on property matters and contracts
