Job summary

Lawmee is partnering with a progressive law firm to secure an experienced Property Lawyer for a flexible contracting role in Victoria. The position runs for approximately 6 months with an initial commitment of 4-6 hours per week and may scale up as workload grows.

You will work alongside senior property lawyers, providing technical oversight and quality assurance across a broad range of Victorian property matters.

Qualifications

• 12+ years' PAE in property law, preferably with leading national or international firms.
• Strong drafting and risk management skills.
• Ability to provide practical, commercial advice on complex Victorian property matters.

Responsibilities

• Review and settle complex property and conveyancing matters.
• Review solicitor certificates and letters of advice.
• Assist with stamping applications and complex contract reviews (off-the-plan, retirement village, building and commercial).
• Advise on subdivisions, boundary realignments, adverse possession and related matters.
• Provide technical escalation support for complex property matters.
