Job summary

Lead Group in Sydney CBD is seeking an experienced Property Lawyer to Senior Lawyer to join a well-established practice. You will manage a varied portfolio across property, leasing and conveyancing matters, working with private clients, investors, landlords, tenants and developers.

This role offers autonomy, direct client exposure and clear pathways for progression within a supportive team and established practice.

Qualifications

Australian solicitor with NSW practising certificate.
2+ years post-admission property law experience.
Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
Experience with PEXA is preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage a broad range of property matters from instruction to settlement.
Handle residential and commercial conveyancing, including acquisitions and disposals.
Advise on commercial, retail, office and industrial leasing matters.
Draft, review and negotiate leases and property-related agreements.
Advise on off-the-plan transactions and property developments.
Act for individuals, investors, landlords, tenants and developers.
Provide advice on mortgages, loan facilities and property securities.
Assist with caveats and real property security arrangements.
Aid in property development, planning and transaction structuring.
Identify issues arising during property transactions and offer practical solutions.
Support settlements and electronic conveyancing through PEXA.
Liaise with clients, banks, agents, solicitors and external stakeholders.
Manage deadlines and maintain accurate matter documentation.
For senior candidates, take ownership of client relationships and mentor junior lawyers.
