Job summary

Northrop Grumman Australia is seeking an Aerospace/Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineer to support aircraft sustainment, investigations and airworthiness tasks within the KC-30A program. You will translate complex technical information into practical engineering outcomes and mentor developing engineers in a Defence environment.

The role is based in Springfield or Pinkenba (Brisbane Airport) with hybrid work options and a path to NV1 clearance.

Qualifications

• Aerospace/ Mechanical/ Mechatronics engineers with aviation experience or regulatory environments.
• Experience with airworthiness and regulated engineering governance.
• Ability to mentor engineers and lift team capability.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support across aircraft sustainment, investigations and airworthiness activities.
• Assess technical information from Airbus and other stakeholders, translating into practical outcomes.
• Contribute to modifications, engineering change and continuous improvement initiatives.
