Job summary

GR Engineering Services Limited (GRES) is seeking a Project Quality Coordinator to join our project team based in Ascot, WA. You would report directly to the Manager of Projects and support the projects team to maintain welding certification and compliance.

Please note potential for adhoc site visits both within Perth and regional WA will occasionally be required. This is an exciting time to join GRES as we are experiencing significant growth and opportunities to develop your skills.

Qualifications

• Welding supervisors certificate (AS1796) and related qualifications preferred.
• CSWIP 3.2.1 Senior Welding Inspector preferred.
• AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) preferred.
• ISO9001 training or experience with quality management systems.
• Trade certificate in Welding (Boilermaking) is desirable.
• White Card holders welcomed to apply.
• Current Drivers Licence required.
• National Police clearance within 6 months.
• Must pass pre-employment medical including drug/alcohol screen.
• Full and unrestricted Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Enforce safe work practices and ensure HSE standards are met.
• Oversee weld tests and welder qualifications in Perth workshop or onsite.
• Develop corrective actions for non-compliances and implement preventative actions.
• Training, coaching and competency assessment of personnel where applicable.
• Assist project quality teams to ensure GRES project quality standards are met.

The Opportunity

We currently have an opportunity for a Project Quality Coordinator to join our Project Team based in our Ascot Office.

Key Responsibilities Of The Role

• Cert 10 Welding Supervisor - AS1796 & AS2214 (preferred)
• CSWIP 3.2.1 Senior Welding Inspector (preferred)
• AWS Certified Welding Inspector (preferred)
• Quality Management System Audit ISO9001 Training
• Trade Certificate in Welding (Boiler making)
• White Card
• Current Drivers Licence
• Current National Police clearance within 6 months
• Be able to pass a pre-employment medical including drug & alcohol screen
• Full and unrestricted Australian working rights
