The Data and Service Delivery Branch within DFAT's Information Management and Technology Division, has a requirement for multiple ICT labour-hire resources to fill the role of ICT Project Officer to support delivery, management and governance of various ICT projects. Duties are diverse and will include engagement with multiple divisions across DFAT to support the delivery of various projects.
The Project Support Officers will support Program Managers in the day-to-day management of a range of projects ranging in complexity and size. They are required to undertake work that is complex in nature, work under limited direction with the opportunity for reasonable autonomy and accountability. The Project Support Officers will be required to exercise both initiative and judgment in the interpretation of policy, provide detailed technical, professional, and/or policy advice in relation to complex problems and may assist in strategic planning, program and project management and policy development. They are required to liaise with a range of stakeholders in a representational role. Work may involve management responsibilities requiring the setting of priorities and managing workflows.
